2019 Porsche Club Championship, Brands Hatch Indy
Like most Porsche owners, I love to race whenever I can, and this was an opportunity I didn’t want to miss. As is the way with racing there were quite a few near misses, some great race battles and the odd completely totalled Porsche.
At one point in the video you’ll notice a Silver Porsche 997 (with whom I was in close contest) spin out so I had to take evasive action to avoid a near crash. At the same time I kindly helped the Brands Hatch track crew, cutting their grass for them!
I managed capture images of the ensuing race carnage with not only the Porsche 997 spinning, but also a Porsche 996 and a Porsche Boxster, there’s a lot of work needing to be done at a Porsche repair centre to get them back on track.
We were delighted with the way our Porsche Boxster race ready engine performed, so we feel confident that we can put our money where our mouth is when preparing race engines for our customers as well. And proof being that one of our customers won their class once in their four races!
